The Envirotainer Tank
|
|
A 350-gallon or 420-gallon tank. The Envirotainer tank is the world's first self-cleaning tank.
It is more than just a container for shipping and storing
materials. The Envirotainer
tank addresses environmental and OSHA considerations that
never existed when tanks were first developed. It is certified
for UN/DOT packing Groups II & III.
The rigorous
testing procedures included a 29.5 PSIG hydrostatic pressure
test, a vibration test and a drop test in which the tank was
loaded with 6,450 lbs. of product.
The Envirotainer is so
durable that even after the four foot drop test it can still
be used for daily transportation of hazardous products!

Benefits
of Envirotainer tank:
- Designed to clean viscous materials
- Solves environmental concerns
- Reduces or eliminates residue disposal
- Increases manufacturing efficiency
- Reduces container cleaning costs
- Provides a non-combustible container to meet the
latest fire code changes
Features
of Envirotainer tank:
This tank does more than you would think!
The Envirotainer tank has been designed to be cleaned
with our patented Cryo-Cleaner® process so that
residues can be removed from tanks without the use of
soaps, solvents or water.
This
process is environmentally safe, user friendly and

The
Envirotainer tank:
- Can be used for high shear
batch mixing
- Can increase manufacturing efficiency and make a "Just in
Time" manufacturing program possible
- Has integrated pressure vacuum and temperature relief
- Ideal for shipping and handling hard to clean products and viscous
materials
- Is 360 round with a 100% drain dish bottom
- Has a 4-way forklift system
- Requires no liners
- Constructed of stainless steel, aluminum, or painted mild carbon
steel
- U.S. patent #5,456,085 and other patents pending
- Is cryogenically cleanable
- Can be used in a no-clean "closed-loop" system
No-Clean,
Closed Loop System Option:
In a no-clean "closed loop" system the tanks do not need
to be cleaned at all! Material is pumped into the sealed 420 gallon
tank (300 net gallons) and then dispensed from the tank by
pressurizing the tank with nitrogen gas. This pressure forces a
piston following plate down through the container which forces the
material out through the bottom of the tank much like a syringe
needle. With this system, oxygen and/or moisture never reach the
material. This means that the product inside of the container is
protected from the atmosphere, keeping the product in its optimal
state. Food remains fresh, industrial products do not dry out and
adhere to the sides of the container and resins and various other
products do not prematurely cure.
